Passport Releasing
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WHEN YOU CLAIM YOUR PASSPORT:
*PERSONAL APPEARANCE is required
*Only IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS (e.g. father, mother, sister, brother, spouse, son or daughter) are authorized to claim the passport if, for a valid reason, the applicant cannot release his/her new passport. The family member should present the following: a) Authorization Letter and b) ID of the Authorized Person (original and photocopy).
AT THE EMBASSY:
Step 1: Proceed to the Passport Releasing Section.
Step 2: Present official receipt and old passport for cancellation.
Step 3: Check details of your new passport (first name, middle name, last name, date/place of birth).
Step 4: Sign on the signature pad to acknowledge receipt of your new passport.
HOW TO NAVIGATE THE PASSPORT RELEASE PDF DOCUMENT:
Press CTRL + F or COMMAND + F and type your name in the search box that will appear on the top right corner of the window. Type your SURNAME then press the enter key. Continue to press the Enter key until you find your name.
NOTE:

Passports applied at the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi will be released at the Embassy from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday, 7:30 am to 12:00 pm (except on Public holidays). No appointment needed.

Passports applied at the VFS Global Abu Dhabi will be released at VFS Global WTC Mall, Abu Dhabi from Sunday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (except on Public holidays)

Passports left unclaimed after six (6) months will be canceled per Department Order No. 37-03.

The public is advised to check the validity of their current passports prior to booking their international flights. Flight bookings should ONLY be made if passports are still valid for at least six (6) months.
